Exciting News from the Atlantis Lodge!

As we prepare to let the Atlantis Lodge take a rest for the holidays, we’re chomping at the bit to share some exciting news with all of our guests, past, present, and future: The Atlantis is about to undergo quite the transformation! You can look forward to a few dramatic changes around our lodge to make your Island Mile 5 experience more enjoyable than ever.

A Quiet Place to Lay Your Head – Softer AC Units!
Finally, we will be replacing the thru-wall air conditioning units – those loud, ugly boxes that never seem to get your temperature just right – with Mitsubishi ductless mini split vents. No more loud units that blow in your face while you sleep! You can have better control over the temperature in your room, the speed of the fan, and more, with the quietest settings for a more peaceful rest.

A Warmer and More Relaxing Pool Experience
Over at the pool, we’re looking forward to making some long-awaited changes. First, we’ll add lighting so you can wade in the water just a little longer every night. Then we’re switching our system over to a heated, saltwater pool. It’s cleaner and healthier and it will provide a longer swimming season for our guests! Our new and improved pool is expected to be open by March 15, 2016. We’re looking forward to guests welcoming those warm spring days with a refreshing dip in the pool.

As always, Atlantis Lodge is closing for the holidays December 1st-29th. We’re looking forward to getting started on these exciting renovations, and spending some much needed time with family. Come the end of December, we’ll be ready to see your families again! We’re reopening for New Year’s Eve, when you can bundle up and watch the fireworks from the beach with us at Pine Knoll Shores.

In fact, we’re welcoming guests back with a winter special: stay 3 nights and get the 4th night FREE when you stay with us from December 29, 2015 and March 15, 2016.

We still have reservations available for monthly rentals during January and February. If you prefer to fly south for the winter, the Atlantis is the perfect place to hunker down until warmer weather comes in your neck of the woods. Call to make your reservation before it’s too late!
