“A gem on the Crystal Coast”

We discovered Atlantis Lodge by happy accident several years ago, and have been back many time since.

It’s not the newest property, or the glitziest, or the most luxurious. You have to know what you’re going to: a small, family-run, single-location property, with decades of history behind it. If you’re looking for marble counters and in-room spas and valet service, this is not the place for you. I find that its age and character give it a charm that a newer facility just doesn’t have, but it may not be for everyone.

Once your expectations are properly set, you’re in good shape for a FANTASTIC stay. The feel of the place is summed up in one word: PEACEFUL. It’s quiet even during peak season, even when the property is full of families and kids and dogs. It’s friendly to a fault. Even on our first visit it felt like home. I start to decompress the moment I turn into the driveway. The place just FEELS good.

The rooms are comfortable and unassuming. The grounds are beautiful, and maintained with real care. The staff is attentive and yet somehow still totally invisible–a trick I’ve watched employees of five-start resorts fail to pull off.

I couldn’t possibly recommend Atlantis Lodge more highly. We’ve been there probably eight or ten times in the last five years, and have sent many family and friend groups, who have never failed to fall in love with it too.

“Stay here, you’ll love it!”

Home away from home. People are so friendly and care that your visit is beyond just a getaway. Beautiful ocean view rooms, quaint, quiet, pristine clean. Didn’t want to go home. Even my little Maltese loved it and he hates to be away from home.

“First visit. Lots of beach character (yes, built in the 60s).”

Oceanfront room with balcony, coffee outside in the mornings, beautiful grounds, very well groomed. Very quiet, even though full for the weekend. Pet friendly. Even have a dog washing station with shampoo! Will return!
