We Are Thankful For The Friendly Market
Thankful
Thanksgiving Day is just around the corner and everyone is beginning to talk about what they are thankful for this year. We could list many things that WE are thankful for such as our family, our guest, and our timeless location on the Atlantic coast. One of the things we’ve grown to love and appreciate is The Friendly Market! This place has become a staple in our family. We visit The Friendly Market (owned by Matt and Mindy Fitzpatrick) for leisure and family outings but we also purchase plants and necessary items for the motel. Last year our family traveled there (a whole bunch of us) to pick out our Christmas tree with our Pops (A.C. Hall).
This fall we visited for pumpkins and succulents (they probably had to restock after we left).
Don’t get us started on the yummy food they offer. It is prepared right in their kitchen. We often stock up our kitchen when family is coming down to stay for the weekend. Last but not least if you visit, be sure to meet “Sally No”. Sally No is their pet labrador and she is the absolute sweetest.
More About The Friendly Market
OUR MISSION: To highlight fresh, local, and quality in each of our products and to support an extensive co-op of area farmers and growers in Mindy’s Baked Goods, The Produce Stand, and The Nursery.
Mindy’s Baked Goods brings together all the elements that inspire us: Local farming, ingredient driven foods, and unique menu items. Below are the dishes that have become mainstays within The Friendly Market, and favorites among our customers.
