Visit the NC Seafood Festival with Atlantis Lodge

Finally, we’re starting to feel fall on the Crystal Coast. Mornings are crisp and cool, the breeze is blowing, and the leaves will soon start to turn. Say what you want about summer on the Crystal Coast, but fall is truly our favorite time of year. We have so many things to look forward to in the coming months, but the one thing everyone’s talking about is the North Carolina Seafood Festival in Morehead City.

Local seafood is something we hold near and dear to our hearts here on the Crystal Coast. This year’s 29th annual Seafood Festival, held throughout the weekend of October 2nd-4th, aims to promote the incredible social and economic impact of the seafood industry on not only our area, but all of North Carolina. Best of all, you’ll get to enjoy a wide variety of seafood indigenous to North Carolina from local chefs and vendors.

Runners, take your marks for the Twin Bridges 8k Road Race on Saturday, October 3rd at 8am, then enjoy a delicious cooking demonstration in the Chef’s Tent starting at 10am.

This year, the Seafood Festival is bringing ACM Award nominee Dustin Lynch to the Agri Supply Main stage at 8pm on Saturday, October 3rd. This chart-topping country music star has opened for Keith Urban as well as Luke Bryan’s 2015 Kick The Dust Up Tour. North Carolina native Emily Minor will be his opening act, and a fireworks display will cap off the night starting at 9pm.
